What you should do if you are injured in an accident:

  1. Contact the police so that they will investigate and write a report.
  2. Exchange information with the other driver including name, address, phone number, driver’s license number, name of insurance company, and policy number.
  3. Get the names, addresses, and phone numbers of all witnesses.
  4. Say nothing to the other driver’s insurance company.
  5. Take pictures of any injuries such as bruises, scrapes, etc. 
  6. Take pictures of the damage to all vehicles involved in the accident.
  7. Seek immediate medical care.
